The aim of the work is to create prototypes of modular flow systems for destruction of hazardous components of hospital effluents and their testing in the laboratory. Research methods – spectroscopy in ultraviolet and visible areas, high performance liquid chromatography, titrimetric analysis. The general regularities of oxidative destruction reactions of hazardous components of hospital effluents in peroxene systems have been investigated and the influence of electric and hydrodynamic scheme of combination of electrochemical cells in a single module on current efficiency and selectivity of pollutant destruction in conditionally reagent-free systems has been established. Laboratory tests of various variants of flowing modular systems have been carried out. Recommendations for the use of binary catalytic systems for the treatment of hospital effluents are provided; the optimal scheme for hospital effluents treatment is created. A laboratory prototype of a modular flow system which has successfully passed laboratory tests, proving its high functionality and efficiency has been developed.
