Research methods – chemical, physicochemical, biochemical, microbiological. As a result of investigations in 2020, the following results were obtained: new nanomaterials, namely, nanoparticles (NPs) of noble and transition metals, as well as complex compounds, were synthesized using chemical and "green" methods; their structural and electroactive properties were studied; the synthesized NPs were screened for their ability to react with Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) in solution, the most catalytically effective artificial peroxidases were selected and their suitability to play the role of H2O2-sensitive amperometric chemosensors was demonstrated; the purified enzyme preparations of microbial oxidoreductases, namely, alcohol oxidase and flavocytochrome b2 from the yeast Ogataea polymorpha, laccase from the fungus Monilinia fructicola were isolated and transferred to Lithuanian partner; catalytically active bioNPs were obtained by combining oxidoreductases with NPs and characterized as bioelements for the construction of biosensors and biofuel cells. According to the results of the research in 2020, 3 articles and 1 abstracts were published, 1 article and 1 chapter of the monograph were accepted for publication.
