A new plant for smelting U- (7-9) Mo alloy was developed, which made it possible to increase the metallurgical and radiation resistance of the uranium target, which retains an isotropic volume-centered cubic lattice of high-temperature uranium γ-phase in a wide temperature range and has high resistance exposure to radiation. Technological operations were performed, and induction remelting of U- (7-9%) Mo alloy was performed. The Sanitary Passport for work with ionizing radiation sources at the uranium smelting site for the production of YAPU targets was obtained. The parameters of technological processes of making the target of neutron sources of NSC KIPT from U- (7-9%) Mo alloy are established. The technology for cladding the target plates with aluminum alloy SAV-1 has been developed. The installation for carrying out 3D high-temperature deformation of an ingot depending on deformation speed, pressing temperature, and loading on a press is developed: accordingly, - 3 mm / min., 650… 800oС, 25-65Ton. 4. Prepared installation for high-temperature homogenization of target plates from uranium- (7-9%) Mo alloy, in order to preserve radiation-resistant high-temperature gamma phase in the conditions of target operation. For complete homogenization it is necessary to provide the following temperature and time conditions: 1000 ° C-24 hours.
