In particular, the substrates obtained in the first stage of the project were optimized, with a structured surface that satisfies the necessary requirements for obtaining SERS substrates with the morphology of inverted pyramids. Due to the use of several different technological approaches to the manufacture of structured substrates, there are ample opportunities to vary the morphological parameters to optimize the efficiency of SERS substrates. In particular, the possibility of controlled variation and application of morphological features in the range from tens of microns to units of nm has been achieved. The planned ion functionalization has been successfully applied for controlled aggregation of plasmon LFs and more efficient formation of "hot spots" on the surface of SERS substrates. The Subcontractor's team successfully completed the planned tasks to optimize the functionalization processes of the substrates developed in the project by biomolecules (antibodies, aptamers and amino acids). The developed protocol of functionalization provides for the possibility of varying the concentration of analyte molecules, as well as the necessary verification of the absence of degradation processes during the time intervals in which their SERS-studies. The obtained results confirm the prospects of developing an effective Raman signal amplification system for their detection and research, based on the SERS platform proposed in the project.
