The influence of acetaldehyde impurity on the synthesis and properties of liquid rubbers has been studied. Block copolymers based on liquid butadiene rubber with hydroxyl groups and polyethers of different functionality, polyester and glycerin were synthesized. On the basis of the synthesized block copolymers, filled composites were obtained and their properties were investigated. Epoxy-containing liquid rubbers were synthesized by copolymerization of isoprene with glycidyl methacrylate under the action of hydrogen peroxide in a solution of isopropyl alcohol and their properties were investigated. A number of composite paints and varnishes based on melamine-formaldehyde resins and oligomeric modifiers obtained using esters of fatty acids of rapeseed and sunflower oils and aminoethylpiperazine have been developed.
