According to the high established index of selectivity of bacillary biopolymers for influenza viruses, herpes, hepatitis C and coronavirus TPG bacillary biopolymers can be attributed to highly effective antiviral drugs. In determining the mechanisms of antiviral action of bacillary biopolymers, it was first shown that the main mechanism is the blockade of epidermal growth factor receptors, which is involved in the reproduction of these viruses. Targets for the interaction of influenza virus with bacillary biopolymers with Bacillus subtilis and Corinebacterium were identified by PCR electrophoresis with specific primers to influenza A-PR8 genes. It has been shown for the first time that a bacillary biopolymer from Bacillus subtilis completely blocks the PB1, PB2, M1 + M2 genes and inhibits hemagglutinin gene expression. Bacillary biopolymer from Corinebacterium inhibits the above genes of influenza A-PR8 virus. The second mechanism of antiviral action of bacillary biopolymers is their interferon-inducing activity, improved ordering of the process by the ratio of quantitative expression of RCC genes, RNAse L and 2-5 SCA. It has been shown that the expression of PKR genes, RNAse L and 2-5 OAS is more similar to the expression of interferon genes by exogenous interferon with increasing quantitative expression of PKR genes and RNAse L. The influence of bacillary biopolymers on the processes of cell destruction and proliferation is determined. Bacillary biopolymers have been shown for the first time to have a significant proapoptotic effect on Jurkat cells and inhibit the proliferative activity of cells induced by influenza, herpes and hepatitis C viruses.
