A special technological diagram has been elaborated to select the optimal operating practices of cast blanks production using impregnation method. The technology of obtaining multilayer hinged armor panels for the protection of military special equipment has been developed. A batch of cast hinged armor panels has been manufactured, which have successfully passed ballistic tests. The panels are not destroyed when fired, and bullets are stuck in them.
