The purpose of the work is to prepare an analytical report, which based on scientific analysis of international experience of reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories will identify key approaches to developing a strategy to counter new challenges to national security in Ukraine's international political, economic and informational spheres. The study is conditioned by the need for Ukraine to develop a state policy on the return of the temporarily occupied territories and their revitalization. Research methods: Concepts of optimization of bilateral and multilateral political and economic relations of Ukraine with the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. General scientific and special research methods. To clarify the key concepts of this study, it is important to use the method of terminological analysis and logical-semantic approach. The use of inductive and deductive methods, as well as the synthetic method will allow to come to generalizations and clear and logical conclusions about the nature and prevention of threats to national security of Ukraine. Hypothetical and modeling method will allow to characterize and construct scenarios of the situation in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. The application of the method of analogies in the study of the international experience of reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories will promote the creative use of the experience of reintegration of the territories of other countries. The geopolitical and geoeconomic method will be used to study various aspects of the geostrategy and geopolitics of neighboring countries towards Ukraine. In particular, the use of this method will provide an opportunity to study the military-political expansion of the Russian Federation in the post-Soviet space, as well as its design of nonlinear ("hybrid") influence on Ukraine.
