The subject of the research is theoretical-methodical and applied principles of research and tools for improving the parameters of ecological and social components of the quality of life of the population of the Carpathian region. The aim of the study is to develop theoretical and methodological foundations for the study of environmental and social determinants of quality of life with the development of practical recommendations for improving the quality of life of the population of the Carpathian region of Ukraine.Theoretical-applied and methodological aspects of the study of the quality of life of the population are generalized, in particular in the part of its ecological and social determinants. The content of the concept is specified and the specifics of the formation of the quality of life of the population at the regional level are revealed. Conceptual bases of regional policy of improvement of quality of life of the population are developed. The analysis of ecological and social determinants of quality of life of the population of the Carpathian region of Ukraine is carried out.An empirical assessment of the impact of environmental and social determinants on the quality of life of the region's population has been made. Strategic support of ecological and social components of the quality of life of the population in the regions of the Carpathian region of Ukraine has been identified.The strategic priorities of the regional policy of improving the ecological and social components of the quality of life of the population of the Carpathian region of Ukraine are substantiated.
