State support schemes for sustainable renewable energy development based on green auctions have been improved. They include substantiating the electricity generation cost for various renewable energy technologies considering the assessment of equity and debt capital, fair profits, minimum payback periods of investment projects to establish the optimal price range for bidding. The feed-in tariff variations have been proposed, and their minimum rates and optimal terms of validity have been substantiated for households and business entities. The methodology of determining the optimal feed-in tariff version for new generating capacities has been developed based on the assessment of feed-in tariffs’ divergence/convergence, the actual cost of green electricity generation from the standpoint of both producers and consumers. A methodology for determining the optimal direction of investment in renewable energy development in the region has been proposed, which considers the cost of electricity generation by different green energy technologies, the level of regional technogenic load on the environment, etc. Organizational and economic mechanisms to stimulate the development of energy storage capacities withing existing state support schemes (green auctions, feed-in tariff) and creating new schemes (preferential investments, energy cooperatives) are proposed to balance and integrate renewable energy sources into the United Energy System of Ukraine Product Description popup.authors Hyrchenko Yevhenii V.
