The structural features of nanoscale objects as targets for spraying with broad prospects for practical use have been studied. The interaction of energy ions with surface nanoscale clusters is shown. The physical mechanisms of cluster sputtering are considered, the interaction of low-energy argon ions with surface metal clusters is shown, the role of surface cluster interaction with the substrate, the influence of thermal vibrations of atoms on the sputtering process are investigated. the results of theoretical and experimental works in this field are given. Due to the complexity of theoretical calculations and the unavailability of some aspects of the study of direct experiment, much attention was paid to computer modeling of relevant processes and systems. Areas of research that make it possible to use the processes of interaction of accelerated particles with solids to solve nanotechnology problems are discussed: such areas as bombardment of surfaces by energy clusters and application in surface modification, thin film growth, near-surface implantation; emission of clusters during spraying; and spraying nanoscale targets: carbon materials and metal nanoscale clusters. Physical and technological bases of processes of production of thin nanocomposite donor-acceptor photoconductive films which can be effectively used in technology of electrostatic templates are developed. The efficiency of using a three-channel automatic control system of gas-phase processes on the basis of a modified unit VUP-5 (Ukraine) for the manufacture of nanocomposites and heterostructures in template technologies is demonstrated.
