Materials and methods – the study harboured the populations of the model smallsized fish species, e.g. pumpkinseed (Lepomis gibbosus), western tubenose goby (Proterorhinus semilunaris), Ukrainian stickleback (Pungitius platygaster), blackstriped pipefish (Syngnathus abaster), some other alien species, neolimnetics and representatives of the local fauna. Methods of the study: ichthyological, population, parasitological. Results and novelty – a comparison of the size and mass characteristics of populations of model fish species and the structure of their parasitic groups from different freshwater, brackish and marine localities are done. Comparisons of populations of distant aliens (pumpkinseed, Lepomis gibbosus) and neolimnetics (big-scale sand-smelt, Atherina boyeri) from different locations by genetic markers have been started. The obtained complex data are analyzed according to the logic of the previously proposed scheme of complex monitoring of alien fish species using population, parasitological and genetic indicators. Model alien fish species were found in new localities (reservoirs and watercourses of the Dnieper basin), the structure of parasitocenoses of alien fish in new habitats was studied. Laboratory researches of fish, parasites, genetic samples are carried out. The data collected for 2021 were exported to the international online database GBIF, as a separate set of data for which the NFDU is listed as a source of funding. Key words: alien fish species, neolimnetics, distance invaders, parasites, monitoring Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2021-12-21 Close
