BREMSSTRAHLUNG, PHOTONS, SECONDARY ELECTRONS, CONVERTER, MICROTRON, EXCITATION ENERGY. The object of research is the characteristics of beams formed on electronic accelerators. The aim of the work is to create an application for modeling the characteristics of beams formed on electronic accelerators, study the factors influencing the characteristics of beams, develop an optimal scheme for stimulating the fission of plutonium isotopes and calculate the excitation energy of fissile nuclei formed by bremsstrahlung. Research methods - calculations of the characteristics of bremsstrahlung beam obtained by transforming electron beams into photons, factors influencing their characteristics using Schiff's formula and GEANT4 tools. Main scientific results – created applications for modeling the characteristics of bremsstrahlung beams and their components formed on electronic accelerators, based on Schiff's formula and GEANT4 class libraries; Main scientific results Based on Schiff's formula and GEANT4 class libraries, programs for modelling the characteristics of bremsstrahlung beams and their components formed on electronic accelerators have been created. To simulate the spectra of bremsstrahlung photons depending on the thickness of Ta-converters (0.01 ÷ 0.1 of the radiation length of Tantalum) the limits of application of Schiff's formula are established. Factors influencing the characteristics of bremsstrahlung beams and its components (photons, secondary electrons and relations between them) that interact with the studied targets (Plutonium nuclei) have been studied. The influence of calculation statistics on the final results depending on the initial number of electrons involved in the generation of bremsstrahlung photons has been studied. The excitation energy of Plutonium compound nuclei by bremsstrahlung photons has been calculated. Product Description popup.authors Oleynikov Eugene V popup.nrat_date 2021-12-22 Close
