The purpose of the study is to analyze the current and substantiate the long-term structure of the economy of Lviv region in the context of identifying the need for workers, substantiation of innovative institutional tools for vocational (vocational) education in the region on a public-private partnership. Research methods - general scientific (dialectical method of cognition, scientific induction and deduction, method of comparison and synthesis, system analysis) and special methods (functional, situational); methods of analysis, synthesis. Approaches and tools for assessing the quality of vocational education in the region based on the analysis of best international and domestic practices are systematized. Trends in the transformation of professions in the medium and long term in the context of the promising state of the labor market in Lviv region and the role of vocational education in the formation of competitive workers are determined. New approaches to ensuring the quality of vocational (vocational) education in Ukraine, based on the competence approach and the development of new state standards of vocational education on a modular basis. Applied tools for forming the policy of innovative development of vocational education institutions have been further developed, the implementation of which allows to ensure the implementation of a collective bargaining approach to the management of vocational education in the region. The substantiation of applied institutional and legal bases of formation and functioning of supervisory boards in the system of vocational education of the region is carried out.
