Based on a detailed study of the obtained NC samples by X-ray diffractometry, XPS and Raman spectroscopy, a significant content of the secondary (impurity) phase of Ag-Zn-S was determined. The latter is studied for the first time and is a promising photovoltaic material given the simplicity of synthesis and the edge of optical absorption at 0.8-0.9 eV. The main attention in the spectroscopic characterization of the obtained NCs was paid to the identification of the secondary phases of binary and ternary compounds. Their characteristic vibrational (Raman) spectra have been established, which will be used in further research as a reliable method of structural rapid diagnostics of this type of nanomaterials in the role of functional structures. The advantages of complementarity of Raman data and results of X-ray diffractometry and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy for establishing a complete picture of the phase and component composition of CZTS NC are shown.
