The physical and mechanical properties of the obtained materials have been studied. Based on the studies performed, the optimal composition of a geopolymer binder based on fly ash, blast furnace, slag and metakaolin, as well as liquid potassium glass and potassium hydroxide was selected. The geopolymer samples produced by the developed method using are determined by a very dense and homogeneous structure and characterized by acceptable strength parameters: at compression ≥ 30 MPa after holding for 28 days. The influence of the inclusion of an ion-exchange resin (up to 20%), as a simulator of liquid radioactive waste, on the properties of a geopolymer binder was investigated. It is shown that specimens with 10% and 20% ion-exchange resin additives are characterized by a dense, homogeneous structure and have, in comparison with specimens of optimal composition, not significantly lower compressive strength parameters of 23 and 20 MPa, respectively. The developed geopolymer material is very promising for use in the technology of immobilization of liquid radioactive waste from nuclear power plants in Ukraine, in particular, spent ion-exchange resins.   Product Description popup.authors Svitlychniy Yevgeniy O Shkuropatenko Volodymyr A popup.nrat_date 2021-12-22 Close
