The purpose of the first stage of fundamental research is to analyze existing, justify the need to create new and improved approaches and methods simulation of nuclear and thermal power plants in order to use them for the synthesis of automated decision support systems; formalization of new approaches, methods and models for simulation of nuclear and thermal power plants, their elements and structures as complex technical systems, based on a multilevel hierarchical subordinate idea of their structures that can be used to synthesize automated decision support systems. The scientific novelty of such approaches is due to the fact that they will form a new conceptual basis for the creation of automated intelligent multicriteria decision support systems at the stages of research, design and operation of NPPs and TPPs, which will significantly increase the correctness and adequacy of conclusions solutions offered by ASPPR.
