The aim of the study is to increase the efficiency of search of strategic mineral resources of Ukraine, in particular hydrocarbon deposits, based on the use of novel digital and geoinformation methods of processing large arrays of heterogeneous data and decision-making under uncertainty. The study is based on the next scientific and methodical tools: geological analysis, field research, optical-spectral measurements, computer modeling. Known and specially developed digital methods are used for data processing and analysis. The report contains the results of research conducted during the 1st stage (2021) of the project. The report consists of the following sections: 1. Analysis of modern approaches to solving the problems of searching for hydrocarbons deposits of different types. 2. Justification and selection of polygons for research, collection, and analysis of geological-geophysical and aerospace information. 3. Analysis and assessment of the capabilities of modern aerospace data for geological exploration of subsoil at the regional and local levels. 4. Creation of a unified base of geospatial data for remote sensing and geological and geophysical data in order to solve oil and gas prospecting tasks. The results of the study form the scientific and methodological basis for the further development of the applied software system "Computer Assistant of Geologist" (CompAsGeo) for the interactive formation of quantitative estimates of the hydrocarbon potential of subsoil areas.
