Performed in accordance with the Order of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, protocol № 181 dated March 29, 2021 Object of research: titanium-zirconium placers of the Ukrainian placer province. The aim of the work is to develop retrospective-static models of titanium-zirconium placers of continental and coastal-marine genetic types of the Ukrainian placer province to establish their structure, genesis, material composition and distribution of ore components. The method of work is based on the combination of methodological and methodological principles of digital structural and lithological modeling with paleogeographic data on the conditions of sediment accumulation, paleoclimate, paleorelief, paleofauna. As a result of the collected information on geological structure, ore-bearing capacity, paleogeographic documents and indicators of conditions for the formation of titanium-zirconium placers of the Ukrainian placer subprovince, a number of deposits were systematized and divided into separate placer areas. Structural and lithological models have been developed for the objects of the Left Bank, Kharkiv and Volyn deposits. Schemes of paleogeographical conditions for the formation of titanium-zirconium placers of Volyn, Kharkiv, Novomyrhorod, Skvyra and Bila Tserkva placers have been constructed. The chemical composition of rutiles and zircons was determined by X-ray microspectrometry from Samotkan, Tarasiv and Krasnokutsk titanium-zirconium deposits.
