P. Semenenko Institute of geochemistry, mineralogy and ore formation popup.description2 The dynamics of transformation of the structure and magnetic properties of synthetic and natural hematite samples in aqueous medium in the presence of iron (II) salts under the influence of microwave radiation, high pressure (6MPa) and temperature (up to 260 °C) was studied. The dynamics of transformation of structure and magnetic properties of samples of waste iron ore raw materials in dry environments in the presence of starch under the influence of elevated temperatures (up to 650 °С) was investigated. The optimal modes of such transformations were determined. Laboratory equipment for the transformation of the structure and magnetic properties of iron oxides and hydroxides in aqueous and dry environments has been created, improved and tested. The novelty of the obtained results is the establishment of optimal modes of transformation of nonmagnetic iron oxides into magnetic ones.
