Registration Date 26-12-2021 Organization State Higher Educational Institution "Azov State Technical University" popup.description2  Research object: The biomedical alloys obtained by the method of additive technology (3D-printing). Research subject: The influence of laser surface treatment on the microstructure and properties of 316L steel, Ti-6Al-4V alloy, Co-28Cr-6Mo alloy. Purpose of work: The development of the concept of process control of surface modification of biomedical 3D-printed alloys using highly concentrated energy sources. Research methods: Optical microscopy, electron scanning microscopy, X-ray diffraction analysis, energy-dispersion analysis, potentiodynamic analysis, tribological testing, determination of micromechanical properties, surface hardening using fiber laser treatment. The report presents the intermediate results of the second and third stages of the project, focused on the effect of surface pulsed-plasma and laser treatment (by fiber laser) on the phase-structural state, physical-mechanical and tribological properties of biomedical alloys (316L steel, Ti-6Al-4V and Co-28Cr-6Mo alloys) made by SLM-technology of 3D-printing and by traditional technologies (rolling, forging). The alteration of temperature fields in the samples during heating by a plasma pulse and a laser beam is determined basing on computer modeling. The character of change of microstructure and properties of experimental alloys depending on a mode of pulsed-plasma and laser processing is defined.
