The subject of research is software and technological solutions for the analysis and comparison of educational texts. The study aims to facilitate the introduction of new text analysis services in the Latvian National Digital Library (LNDL) and the National Repository of Academic Texts of Ukraine (NRATU). The study used general and special research methods, including: empirical (observation, comparison, measurement), the ascent from the abstract to the concrete, grouping, systems analysis (retrospective, quantitative, comparative, and SWOT-analysis), tabular-graphical, heuristic. expert assessments). The current structure, content, and prospects of NRAT development are considered within the R&D, analyzed and summarized the approaches described in the scientific literature and used in practice for text analysis (including to determine similarities) and prepared proposals that can be used in the future to form an appropriate analytical tool/microservice.
