It enables to improve functional properties of the biodegradable implants based on such structures. In this case, controllable time of the implant degradation is provided by changing chemical composition of the implant. We applied substrates produced from different magnesium alloys. Biocompatible coatings based on calcium phosphates (hydroxyapatite (HA) and tricalcium phosphate (TCP)) were deposited by using new GDD setup having unique functional properties. Raman spectroscopy was used to continue investigations of degradation stability of the coatings. Surface morphology, composition, structural and mechanical properties of the coatings obtained during fabrication of the new series of the samples were also studied. It has been established that the obtained coatings are homogeneous and do not contain any uncontrollable impurities. For the first time, coatings based on nano-structured HA were obtained by the GDD. In future, we plan to perform additional investigations of degradation stability and physical-chemical properties for the coatings and their interaction with magnesium alloys to achieve controllable implant degradation. Medical and biological in vivo investigations of the implant biocompatibility will be also carried out. On the base of the results obtained a scientifical article has been published, final report was prepared, the results were partially presented on scientific conference, and preparation of new publication was started.
