It was found that among the studied ceramics the least interaction with technically pure titanium is characterized by molds with face layers of yttrium oxide in combination with a stucco of zirconium oxide and electrocorundum, with the thickness of the reaction layer is 150-200 μm. The biocompatible alloy Ti-13Zr-13Nb is characterized by low interaction with ceramics compared to technically pure titanium, the thickness of the reaction layer on the samples of this alloy was up to 10 μm. Technological processes for obtaining ceramic molds with the most thermochemical-resistant face coatings based on yttrium and zirconium oxides have been developed. The technology of obtaining titanium castings by casting in cold ceramic molds in an electron-beam foundry has been developed and tested. The parameters of electron beam smelting of medical titanium alloys VT6 and Ti-13Zr-13Nb have been optimized, which makes it possible to obtain castings with a uniform fine-grained structure and a high level of mechanical properties. For thin-walled castings of complex configuration, it is proposed to make disposable models by 3D printing from PLA plastic, as the most environmentally friendly and inexpensive material. To prevent cracking of ceramic molds when removing one-time polymer models from them, two-stage firing modes have been developed, consisting of low-temperature (up to 350 ° С) and high-temperature (at 1100 ° С) stages. In order to evaluate the possibility of obtaining thin-walled products, the casting properties of titanium alloys VT1-0, VT-6 and Ti-13Zr-13Nb were studied. The optimal technological scheme of obtaining high-quality precision castings from titanium alloys has been developed and tested. Product Description popup.authors Voron Mykhailo M. Mykhnian Olena V.
