The tissue of zebra mussels samples was prepared for study by a French partner. According to the eco-exposome concept regarding the dependence of immunoreactivity on the functional activity of zinc in cells, the sensitivity of zinc metabolism to a model of the inflammatory process in vertebrates was elucidated. The presence of metallothioneins and their functional activity associated with zinc accumulation in synovial tissue in an experimental model of acute gonarthritis have been proved. In an ex vivo experiment, evidence was obtained for the effect of zinc on the apoptosis enzyme caspase-3 and the participation of glutathione in the reaction to the effect of the roundup prooxidant (glyphosate) for the express analysis of the acute toxic effect of drugs.
