 The object of research is the sphere of culture and art of Kyiv. The purpose of the work is to analyze the state of cultural institutions, the situation in the field of "culture" in general, institutional transformations, and changes to the Comprehensive City Target Program "Capital Culture: 2019-2021". Research methods - economic and statistical, systems analysis, comparison and grouping, generalization. During the study, changes were made and adjusted to the Comprehensive City Target Program "Capital Culture: 2019-2021". A comparative table of the current and new version of the Comprehensive City Target Program "Capital Culture: 2019 - 2021", approved by the decision of the Kyiv City Council of December 18, 2018 № 457/6508. A new version of the Comprehensive City Target Program "Capital Culture: 2019-2021" was prepared in accordance with the decision of the Kyiv City Council of 12.11.2019 № 65/7638 "On amendments to the Procedure for development, approval and implementation of city target programs in Kyiv", approved by the decision of the Kyiv City Council of October 29, 2009 № 520/2589, which includes a set of interrelated tasks and measures for 2020-2021, aimed at achieving the goals and objectives of the Kyiv City Development Strategy until 2025 (in the new edition), for the results of the current state and future development of the "culture" of the city of Kyiv.
