The aim of the work is to develop a comprehensive model for overcoming the negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the mental health of health care workers using modern information and communication technologies. According to the results of an online survey of 2,700 health workers, stress factors were identified according to the degree of their negative impact on psycho-emotional state. The most significant factors were emotional (anxiety, fear) and behavioral (limiting contact with patients with COVID-19). Statistically significant socio-demographic parameters of the negative impact on the mental health of health workers in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic have been identified. An association between stress-related factors and the occurrence of anxiety / fear in healthcare workers in a pandemic has been identified. A comprehensive psychodiagnostic survey of 500 health workers found that COVID-19 had more severe symptoms of depression, anxiety, sleep disturbances, and subjective distress in the COVID-19 group. A comprehensive model for overcoming the negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the mental health of health professionals based on modern information and communication technologies, namely: mobile application and Internet platforms for online mental health diagnostics, online educational counseling and psychological interventions, educational webinars etc. Some components of the model have been implemented in health care practice. For the first time in Ukraine, the proposed model provides a systematic and comprehensive approach to solving the problem of maintaining the mental health of health professionals in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
