Grishka NAS of Ukraine popup.description2  Object of research - system <micromycetes - nutrient medium - mycotoxins> Objective - To conduct a comparative analysis of strains of Penicillium roseopurpureum and Penicillium rubrum on the ability to the biosynthesis of curvularine by modifying the nutrient medium with trace elements. A comparative analysis of micromycetes Penicillium roseopurpureum and Penicillium rubrum - producers of curvularin, proved the positive effect of silicon-containing minerals on the formation of fungal biomass for cultivation in different nutrient media. The absence of inhibitory effect of the culture fluid of the experimental strains on the introduction of silicon compounds on the development of plants in the early stages of ontogenesis has been experimentally confirmed. There was a decrease in the concentration of proline 1.2-1.3 times and flavonoids in 1.6-2.0 times in the leaves, which indicates less stressful stress of plants due to better development of the root system, activation of biosynthesis of protective antioxidants (carotenoids), redox enzymes. For the production of curvularine synthesis, variants with iron ions proved to be the most significant. Moreover, the presence of zinc ions in the nutrient medium inhibits the synthesis of the secondary metabolite. The obtained dependence proves the presence of differences in the functional value of trace elements in the production of secondary metabolites by the strain Penicillium rubrum. In particular, the increase in the concentration of zinc in the nutrient medium increases the synthesis of rubratoxin and, conversely, decreases curvularine.
