The conducted research has shown that the northern shrike Lanius borealis is represented by the subspecies L. b. sibiricus, while the Asian grey shrike L. lahtora is represented by the subspecies L. l. pallidirostris in Ukraine. New data on the ontogenetic, sexual and taxonomic aspects of the morphological variability of brown and green frogs have been obtained. Mechanisms and patterns of morphological diversity formation in their later ontogeny were analyzed. One species (common carp) from the International Red List (IUCN Red List) has been identified.
