The directions of improvement of legal regulation and organizational support of relations in the field of use of aerospace survey for research and protection of archeological heritage are determined. Practical work was carried out with the help of remote sensing of the Earth (aerial and space survey data): 1) monitoring of the state of preservation of the monument of national importance, which allowed for the first time to obtain the results on the archaeological looting; 2) monitoring of erosion zones of the Dnieper reservoirs, which proved the effectiveness of the use of space data to monitor the state of the landscape and individual archaeological sites in terms of their availability for terrestrial archaeological survey. Based on the results of the research, 3 scientific and analytical materials were prepared. The results are summarized in 9 scientific papers, which are presented by 1 collective monograph, 3 articles in scientific journals, 5 abstracts in the proceedings of scientific conferences, seminars, and round tables.
