The seasonal regularities of the wave distribution over Antarctica are determined. A comparative analysis of the features of AGH in the polar thermosphere of both hemispheres was made. Changes in the spatial distribution of polar AGW depending on geomagnetic activity have been established. The energy balance of AGW in the polar regions has been studied according to satellite data. Methods for determining the energy characteristics of these waves by satellite measurements have been improved. The spatial distributions of the AGW energy density along the satellite's orbits, as well as the vertical energy fluxes transported by these waves over Antarctica, have been calculated.
