LM Litvinenko of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2  Object of study. New complexes of stable highly electron donating carbenes for the creation of effective catalysts of the hydrodegalogenation reaction of haloarenes with alcohols in an alkaline medium. The purpose of the work is to study in laboratory conditions the units of technology for obtaining optimal catalysts for hydrodegalogenation reaction of haloarenes to neutralize persistent organic pollutants. Synthesis of new effective carbenocomplex reaction catalysts. Research methods - synthetic, spectral (NMR spectroscopy), analytical (chromatographic, elemental analysis), computational (quantum chemical research). R&D results: The technology of obtaining optimal catalysts for hydrodehalogenation of haloarenes for neutralization of persistent organic pollutants - complexes of palladium chloride and 1,3-bis-(2,6-dibenzhydryl-4-methylphenyl) imidazol-2-ylidene - was developed in laboratory conditions. A new series of carbene PEPPSI-complexes of palladium chloride has been developed to replace the carbene production stage in the technological process. The highest catalytic efficiency in the hydrodehalogenation reaction of haloarenes of the 1,3-bis- (2,6-dibenzhydryl-4-methylphenyl) imidazol-2-ylidene and pyridine complex with palladium chloride and a very promising similar complex with dimethylformamide ligand were revealed. Field of application - synthesis of carbene complexes, catalysis of organic reactions, neutralization of persistent organic pollutants. Product Description popup.authors Yenya Vasyl І.
