It is proposed the design of the means for holding and mixing the powder having the form of a vertical rotatably arranged drum, which comprises a rim with inwardly directed sides with inclined grooves, in which a plurality of elements are fixed for selecting, moving and releasing powder particles. These elements have a form of dihedral buckets with through slots between faces. When the drum rotates, there are capture and retention of powder particles in the lower part of the drum, their transport and release in the upper part of the drum by means of uniform and gradual pouring through the said through slots and falling under gravity down in the form of flat thin jets onto which the vapor stream of evaporated material settles. Between the evaporator and the drum there are shielding means to protect the surfaces of the drum and buckets from direct contact with the flow of evaporated material. This device design provides a uniform thickness of the coating, its uniform distribution on the surface of the powder particles and protection of the powder from the ingress of exfoliated condensate and microdroplets of evaporating material.
