For the first time a study of the dynamics of radioactive contamination and purification of fish (Carassius gibelio і Scardinius erythrophthalmus) are carried out in the natural conditions of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone (ChEZ). To determine the rate of uptake of radioactive and stable isotopes of cesium (137Cs and 133Cs) and strontium (90Sr and 88Sr), fish from the control "clean" reservoir were placed in cages measuring 1 x 1 x 1 m in the reservoir with the highest levels of radioactive contamination (Glubokoye Lake). . Similarly, to determine the rate of excretion of radionuclides fish from the Glubokoye Lake placed in a "clean" control reservoir at different times of the year at different water temperatures to quantify the parameters of cesium and strontium metabolism in fish. According to the international protocol (ICP Waters report 105/2010) samples of water, blood, muscle tissue, gills, skin, stomachs and bones of fish are taken, which for the first time will allow to obtain data on the content of stable Sr isotopes in samples, along with measuring radionuclide activity. Cs, K and Ca using ICP-MS mass spectrometry. All samples obtained after special treatment are measured for 137Cs content using gamma spectrometers, as well as instrumental and radiochemical methods, the activity concentration of 90Sr is set on beta spectrometers. The measurement of the content of stable isotopes in the samples was performed in the laboratories of the Norwegian University of Life Sciences by the authors of the project.
