Registration Date 05-01-2022 Organization Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic National University popup.description2  The object of research is import substituting and resource-saving technologies for the production of non-ferrous alloy castings for dual-purpose engines with high complex of properties. The results of the work: Metallographic studies and mechanical tests of an experimental magnesium-based alloy obtained using gas isostatic pressing (GIP) and modification inside the casting mold (out-of-furnace modification) have been carried out. The use of dispersed graphite powders for the modification of magnesium alloys inside the casting mold, as well as the use of GIP, is a promising direction for improving their properties. Metallographic studies and mechanical tests of a magnesium-based filler material for welding casting defects have been carried out. It was found that the addition of scandium in the amount of 0.05% to the ML10 alloy is optimal and was recommended for the manufacture of a filler material with improved properties. In the production conditions of MOTOR SICH JSC, a pilot test was carried out for welding of body casting made of ML10. Welding of aircraft engine casings was carried out. An industrial test came back positive. Recommendations on the technology of welding critical cast products made of magnesium alloys from using filler material with scandium. A rational technology for refining foundry waste of nickel alloys, providing a dense structure and the necessary properties of castings, is proposed. On the basis of MOTOR SICH JSC, a pilot-industrial test of the developed heat-resistant rhenless-free alloy ZMI-M5 was carried out during the production of turbine rotor blades by the method of high-speed directional solidification. The developed economically alloyed nickel-free alloy ZMI-M5 in terms of the level of mechanical properties exceeds the requirements for the existing normative and technical documentation for the ZhS26-VI alloy and meets the requirements for the ZhS32-VI alloy.
