Purpose - Substantiation of the requirements of the ways of introduction of rational organizational and staffing of the repair and restoration body of the tactical unit of the Land Forces in the conditions of introduction of the logistics system in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The research was conducted within the framework of a systematic approach using the methods of comparative, analytical and heuristic analysis, the method of export estimates, systematic generalization.With the help of these methods, the system of restoration of tactical units is presented in the form of a hierarchical structure of repair and restoration bodies (RVO) with the definition of target functions for each of them. This report proposes a methodological approach to substantiate the rational structure of the military unit (units). According to the results of the analysis of the existing systems of restoration of weapons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the armies of the world's leading states, proposals were made to change the organizational and staffing structures of the tactical unit in the system of logistical support of the Land Forces. The obtained results form the basis for the development of a rational (optimal) organizational and staffing structure of the repair and restoration bodies of the tactical unit.
