The paper aims at determining the possibilities to create special mobile continuous earthmoving machinery able to improve energy efficiency, productivity and quality of earthworks. The machinery should reduce energy consumption of soil development and the environmental negative impact. The paper suggests the requirements for special mobile continuous earthmoving machinery which is dual-purpose and environmentally friendly. As a result of the research, an automated physical model of the operating equipment of the continuous earthmoving machinery has been developed and created; the method for calculating the intensifiers of actuators unloading of trench and trench-excavated machinery has been developed; the project of technical specifications on creating the mobile energy efficient and ecologically safe trench-excavated continuous earthmoving machinery of dual purpose has been developed; the assessment method and the structure of energy efficiency and ecological safety indicators monitoring system for earthmoving machinery of dual purpose when developing the soil have been developed.
