Physical activity causes functional disorders in red blood cells and immunocompetent cells due to the effect on the state of lipid peroxidation, the system of cyclic and adenyl nucleotides. Medical correction of metabolic disorders in blood cells reduces the negative impact of physical exertion on the blood of athletes and increases their adaptive capabilities. Purpose of the study. Develop ways to medically correct metabolic disorders in the red and white blood cells of athletes experiencing intense physical activity. Materials and methods of research. Athletes of various specializations, red blood cells, neutrophils, monocytes and blood T-lymphocytes. Research results. Intense physical activity causes negative changes in red blood cells in athletes, which manifests itself in the activation of lipid peroxidation, insufficiency of the enzymatic system of antioxidant protection, shortening the period of acid resistance of red blood cells, an imbalance of cyclic and adenyl nucleotides, the use of pharmacological preparations of antioxidant action reduces the negative impact of intense physical exertion on the red blood of athletes.
