Experimental methods for studying the scintillation properties of composite scintillator samples have been improved and a preliminary study of their scintillation characteristics has been carried out. The obtained YAG-based composite scintillators were irradiated. The study of the scintillation characteristics of the obtained composite scintillation materials before and after irradiation with various doses of ionizing radiation has been carried out. Preliminary results of studying of the optical and scintillation characteristics of YAG composite scintillator samples before and after irradiation indicate the radiation resistance of these composite scintillators up to doses of D < 25 Mrad as a result of electron irradiation and irradiation power up to 740 ± 50 Mrad/hour and to doses of D < 5 Mrad when irradiated with bremsstrahlung photons at irradiation power from 14.2 to 135 krad/hour. Subcontractor (NSC "KIPT", Kharkiv) worked out the methods of irradiation and irradiated experimental samples of composite scintillators. Product Description popup.authors Bojarintsev Andrii Yu.
