G.V. Kurdyumov of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2  Theoretical results indicate that the formation of nanostructured radiation defects inside the superconductor can significantly reduce its surface resistance to microwaves and increase the range of response linearity, as well as significantly reduce the oscillations of Abrikosov vortices in the high frequency field and associated losses of mixed state HTSC film. The experiments carried out within the framework of this project on irradiation of YBCO films with Au2+ ions with energy of 3 MeV at the Dresden-Rossendorf Research Center for 3 MB van der Graaf accelerators are described. The method and results of measurements of microwave properties and characteristics in the microwave range of superconducting films by the resonance method using microstrip superconducting film resonators are presented. Data on the surface resistance and reactance of irradiated and non-irradiated with Au2+ ions YBCO films in the GHz band at different temperatures, values and orientations of the applied constant magnetic field, different levels of microwave power in the resonator.
