FIRE INJURIES, NON-FIRE INJURIES, PRIMARY SURGICAL TREATMENT, WOUND HEALING, POLYMORPHISM, GENOTYPING. Object of study: patients with gunshot and non-gunshot wounds to soft tissues and bones of the face and jaws of various origins. Purpose: to increase the effectiveness of rehabilitation and reduce the number of complications of gunshot and non-gunshot wounds to the face and jaw by studying the clinical features of the course in patients with this pathology. Scientific novelty: 1. It is established that gunshot wounds of the maxillofacial area in peacetime, due to the amount of simultaneous damage to several organs of the head and neck require a specific approach to diagnosis and treatment in multidisciplinary medical institutions of the Ministry of Health 2. It is established that the practice of the concept of primary reconstructive surgery will help reduce the number of multi-stage operations, reduce complications and achieve the most optimal treatment results. 3. As a result of molecular genetic studies, it was found that the group of patients with complications of wound healing in the postoperative period differed significantly from the control group in the distribution of alleles and / or genotypes of polymorphisms in two of the five genes studied. The application of the proposed method reduces the number of stages of surgical treatment and the development of purulent-inflammatory complications, prevents scarring of the soft tissues of the bottom of the mouth, which significantly improves the process of further rehabilitation of the wounded. This method helps to create the conditions for bone grafting in the subsequent stages of treatment. Scientific activity based on the results of the completed work: 3 articles, 3 abstracts, 1 innovations were published.
