Research methods include experimental methods and computational methods and computer modeling by finite element method and technical thermohydraulics. Developed and manufactured water convection loop with four-channel irradiation chamber (IC) and electromagnetic device to create a dynamic voltage of samples of austenitic steel 12H18N10T to study corrosion in the environment of convection flow to critical and supercritical coolant under accelerated radiation. There are four cartridges for the irradiation chamber, five samples in each, which contain a special device for creating a stress-strain state on the surface of the samples. Computer simulation of coolant circulation in the generated IC was performed and its thermohydraulic parameters in operating modes were calculated. A four-channel irradiation chamber with 20 samples of austenitic stainless steel 12X18H10T and an electromagnetic device passed successful 648-hour tests in the convection flow of subcritical and supercritical water coolant (23.5 MPa, 365 ° C). Including 575 hours of irradiation on the LPE-10 accelerator with electrons with an average energy of 9 MeV and an average beam current of 0.76 mA. The electromagnetic device provided 9.2106 (of which 7.7106 under irradiation) cycles of deformation of samples with a frequency of up to 4 Hz. The dependence of macroscopic indicators of corrosion of samples on the stress on the surface and the type of load is revealed. An application for the invention of Ukraine on the method of studying the corrosion resistance of samples of structural materials was submitted. Scientific and practical results of the development are reflected in 8 publications of R&D performers and implemented on the LPE-10 Product Description popup.authors Boriskin Victor M popup.nrat_date 2022-03-09 Close
