Preliminary calculations of wave transformation for the most wave-dangerous directions are performed. The results of development and improvement of methods of research of irregular bottom bases of river constructions and coastal forms under the influence of surface channel currents are stated. An experimental stand has been developed and created to study the methods of efficient use of renewable wave energy sources and the construction of coastal protection structures in the context of global environmental change. The program and methods of experimental research have been developed. Special means of measuring the parameters of wave motion and wave load are made.
