Our study showed that titanium is a super-elastic material in comparison with other prostheses based to the results of evaluation the prostheses elasticity modulus. Experimentally study of the elastic properties of ossicular prostheses demonstrated the effectiveness of total ossicular reconstructive prosthesis (TORP) with lower Young's modulus (cartilage, Teflon) and partial ossicular reconstructive prosthesis (PORP) made of material with the highest Young's modulus (titanium). A simulation model of the middle ear and ossicular prosthesis in the Comsol software package was created, which allowed to calculate the value of the signal transmission coefficient. An experimental study demonstrated that the frequency response depending on the angle of incidence of the acoustic wave. It is determined that on average, within a range of 30 degrees, the energy transfer coefficient decreases in 4 times, at 15 degrees – in 2, which determines the width of the opening angle equal to 30 degrees. Significant (p<0.05) improvement of air conduction thresholds after was noted in the follow-up with peak within 6-12 months after middle ear reconstructive surgery with PORP and TORP in patients with chronic otitis media. The bone conduction thresholds and the value air-bone gap remained almost unchanged for 12-24 months after surgery, which indicated the stability of the functional results. A significant difference in the functional results was established of ossiculoplasty depending on the material of PORP and TORP of the prosthesis. The best functional results were obtained in patients with combined Teflon and titanium prostheses in contrast to patients with bioautocartilage prostheses. Significant hearing increase in follow-up was noted in all study groups with TORP prostheses at a frequency of 2000 Hz . The percentage of reoperations composed (1-5)%.
