The search for new compounds that are able to regulate the activity of GABA receptors in the absence of side effects of drugs based on them is of great relevance to medicine. The project screened the activity of synthesized compounds (7 molecules), which are a modification of the compounds of the previous series, in relation to GABA A-type receptor-channel complexes of Purkinje neurons. Compounds Z 10365-8095 and Z 17215-6491 were found to be able to enhance the activity of GABA receptors, and compound Z 11178-2830 has a moderate inhibitory effect on GABA A-type receptor-channel complexes. In the model of generalized epilepsy, changes in the work of inhibitory systems under the influence of synthesized molecules were studied. Compound Z 10365-8095 was found to reduce the frequency of electrographic discharges in 4AP and the cabinet model of epilepsy. Further research and possible optimization of the structure of molecules (Z 10365-8095) may be successful in creating a prototype of a new class of modulators of GABA A-type receptors to create anticonvulsant drugs.
