The object of research is the processes of transformation of forest-agricultural and natural phytocenoses of reclaimed lands in the basins of small rivers of the Left-Bank Forest-Steppe in modern conditions of climate change. The aim of the project is to deepen the scientific basis for the development of technologies for soil and water resources management based on the development of ways of environmental protection, environmentally safe and cost-effective use and protection of land in agricultural landscapes. Research methods: field - to determine the interaction of individual elements in agrocenoses; measuring and weighing - to determine productivity in agrocenoses, water and physical properties of soil; laboratory - to determine the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of plant soil and water; mathematical and statistical - to establish the probability of the results; calculation and comparison - to determine the economic, energy, environmental assessment of research results. The scientific novelty of the research is to establish the parameters of change in the agrocenoses of the basins of small rivers of the Left Bank Forest-Steppe under the influence of anthropogenic and natural factors in the context of climate change. Within the framework of the Trubizh interdistrict water management department, the area of ​​activity of which is 17.7 thousand hectares, it has been established that the area under row crops reaches 6.5 thousand hectares.
