Studies have shown that as the diameter of coal particles increases, the viscosity of the system decreases. Rheological properties and stability can be adjusted by changing the particle size distribution of coal depending on operational needs. The influence of sorption properties of dispersants and stabilizers on the characteristics of composite hydrocarbon dispersions modified with nanomaterials has been studied. The addition of nanomaterials has been shown to increase the viscosity of the system. However, such systems are characterized by high sedimentation resistance (at least 12 days). The rheological properties and stability of composite hydrocarbon dispersions can be adjusted with the addition of nanomaterials depending on operational needs. The influence of carbon nanomaterials on the rheological characteristics of composite hydrocarbon dispersions has been studied. It is shown that the increased reactivity of finely divided carbon with highly active newly formed contact interaction centers creates preconditions for the formation of a stable spatial structure under the action of a structural-mechanical stabilization factor. In the presence of nanomaterials, the stability of composite water-carbon dispersions increases significantly, but at the same time the effective viscosity increases. Evidence has been obtained that impurities of carbon microparticles and nanoparticles with increased dispersion demonstrate the ability to form coagulation structures even when they are contained in suspension in the amount of a few percent. It is established that the use of preliminary plasma-chemical conversion of organ-containing wastewater, which is used as a dispersion medium for composite hydrocarbon fuel, allows to improve the performance of composite hydrocarbon dispersions.
