Registration Date 20-01-2022 Organization Kundiev Institute of Occupational Health of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 Peculiarities and mechanisms of toxic action of heavy metal compounds ( CdS 4-6 nm, 9-11 nm; PbS 24-36 nm, 50-80 nm; CdCl2; Pb(NO3)2; Fe2O3 19, 75, 400 nm) and on alternative in vitro models have been studied. It was found that metal compounds with prolonged entry into the body of rats had a direct toxic effect on the heart and blood vessels, as well as indirect - through biochemical processes, circulatory disorders, liver function and liver. In the pathogenesis of cardiovasotoxic effects of cadmium and lead compounds, the leading place is occupied by accumulation of metal in the heart, stimulation of lipid peroxidation (LPO) and inhibition of antioxidant enzymes, disruption of erythropoiesis and heme synthesis, metabolic processes in cells, increased blood imbalance electrocardiograms with signs of hypertensive reaction. The largest changes were recorded under the action of CdCl2, NP CdS 4-6 nm, Pb (NO3) 2, NP PbS 24-36 nm. Fe2O3 solutions (especially 75 nm and 400 nm) caused a decrease of hemoglobin level, erythrocytes and leukocytes, increased activity of intracellular enzymes, activation of LPO, changes in hemodynamics and heart function with signs of hypotensive reaction. Based on the obtained data, biomarkers were determined (increased ACT, ALT, LDH, KK-total and KK-MB activity, increased MDA, DC and decreased activity of SOD and CT enzymes in heart tissue, cardiomyocyte apoptosis, activation of endothelial proliferation) and substantiated cardiac criteria. action of metals (development of anemia; increased blood clotting, oxidative stress, toxic damage to cardiomyocytes, disorders of lipid metabolism, changes in blood circulation in blood vessels, impaired contractile and conduction function of the heart, dystrophic changes in the myocardium). The proposed biomarkers and pathogenetic criteria can be used for early diagnosis of cardiovascular lesions, search for prevention and treatment of heavy metal and NP intoxications, in the development of their hygie Product Description popup.authors Andrusyshyna Iryna Mykolaiyvna Apykhtina Olena Leonidivna Bakalo Liubov V Herasimova Olha V Hubar Inna V Dmytrukha Nataliia M Zaiceva Liudmyla M Kozlov Kostiantyn p Korolenko Tamara K.
