The purpose of research is to create high-yielding early-ripening and medium-ripening varieties of buckwheat with improved architecture of plants resistant to stress conditions. Research methods - field, laboratory, comparative and descriptive, measuring and weighing, inbreeding, polycross test, interspecific hybridization, mass and individual selection. Research results - 80 new hybrid combinations (F1) were obtained in the hybridization nursery, with intraspecific hybridization, convergent and backless crosses. 245 most productive ones were selected in the source material nursery. In the competitive test on yield, Olga and Ukrainka had a significant 5% significant advantage over the standards of Sin-3/17, n-10/13, n-4/18. In the previous variety test, nine numbers provided a significant advantage in terms of yield over the Ukrainian standard standard. Olga's standard standard was significantly exceeded: p-2/20, p-5/20, p-6/20, p-6/19, p-8/19, p-5/19. In the control nursery, 17 most productive hybrids were selected, which in terms of yield exceeded the standards of Olga (0.92 t / ha) and Ukrainka (0.74 t / ha) by 0.27–1.47 t / ha and will be used in the formation of poly-synthetics.
