Object of research - the device of destruction of obstacles. The purpose of the work is to develop a set of LCDs for an upgraded device for breaking glass and making a prototype for it. Research methods: method of documentary analysis, method of system analysis, structural-logical method, method of analysis and synthesis. Results and their novelty: the result of the work is a comprehensive analysis of the technical characteristics of foreign-made research objects used in the practice of law enforcement agencies and military formations of foreign countries. The novelty of the work is to improve the level of equipment for breaking glass, which is equipped with units of the National Police of Ukraine. The main criterion influencing the choice of the object of study from the general list is its purpose and the availability of information on the practical application of law enforcement officers and military formations of foreign countries. Conclusions: The products created within the framework of Vihor should be able to overcome obstacles by their continuous or zonal destruction. Significance of work. The relevance of this RCD is confirmed by the need to use modernized devices for breaking glass by the Department "KORD" of the National Police of Ukraine for the implementation of police coercive measures specified in paragraphs. 10 item 4 of Art. 42 of the Law of Ukraine "On the National Police".
